Annual Music Industry event for all Musicians returns to Exeter
The Analogue to Digital Music Expo hits Exeter once again on Saturday 22 March, bringing with it hundreds of visitors and an impressive exhibitor and guest speaker line-up in the cultural heart of the Southwest. A2D showcases a diverse range of products by major music technology brands, not to mention an array of hands-on demos, masterclasses and music industry seminars delivered by high profile artists and producers across 4 Zones at Exeter Phoenix in Exeter.
Whether you are a professional musician, producer, DJ or an aspiring artist looking to kickstart your career, this event will give you the chance to experience cutting-edge music technology, music industry seminars, live demos and masterclasses delivered by high profile musicians, producers and product experts.
Confirmed exhibitors include Yamaha Music, Steinberg(Cubase), Native Instruments, Time+Space, Sontronics, Bitwig, Nektar, Quested, Academy of Music and Sound, dBs Music and more. This year’s keynote speakers include Richard Barbieri who has been the keyboard/ synthesizer player for the last 12 years with Porcupine Tree, that has now developed into a successful touring band with major label releases and a worldwide profile. The panel will welcome back Ville Leppanen from London-based studio and label Animal Farm and will be chaired by Nick Tarbitt from Integrity Records. The panel will be joined by legendary guitarist Steve Cradock (Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene) and Sally Cradock and ex-Seahorses drummer and singer-songwriter Andy Watts!
The Analogue to Digital after-show gig will host artrock band GRICE who will be closing the show with a live performance and visualisations, playing tracks from the acclaimed album 'Propeller' and 3 bonus tracks from the forthcoming album 'Alexandrine'. GRICE incorporate in their performances Ableton Live, soundscapes and electronica production elements.

A2D is organised and hosted by Exeter-based social enterprise Sound Gallery CIC which runs a professional recording studio, rehearsal spaces and music technology programmes and provides volunteering, work experience and training opportunities for young people with special emphasis on those who are at risk of social exclusion and live in challenging circumstances.
A2D 2014 is hosted by Sound Gallery CIC, is supported by Exeter Phoenix and Exeter City Council and is part of the National Science and Engineering Week.
