Ofcom grants a new community radio licence for Exeter

A ground-breaking new radio station will hit the airwaves of Exeter in early 2008.
The station, Phonic FM, has been awarded a licence to broadcast for five years and will be based at Exeter Phoenix.
ECFM will be based in the basement of the building as part of a
new expansion planned for later this year that will also include Sound Gallery studios run by Sound Gallery incorporating rehearsal and recording studios and bursary space.
Phoenixsound will launch a live lounge called The UNDERGROUND to broadcast performances and live sessions on air.

Sound Gallery have been invited on to the Future Sound of Exeter radio show on Vibraphonic FM on Monday, 5th March to talk music, events and projects.

Tune in from 9pm to hear news and chat and to catch new music released by Sound gallery artists.
