DRAGONSFLY
East meets West in an exciting cross-over featuring bagpipes, tablas, bouzouki, mandolin, guitars, hurdy-gurdy, recorders and more. With this unique celtic-eastern-folk-fusion Dragonsfly have thrilled festival audiences across Europe.

Dragonsfly will also be holding a Breton dance taster workshop in the Voodoo Lounge from 4-5pm before the evening performance.

PANACEA
live bagpipes, harmonium, bouzouki, bass and percussion combine with sequencers and drum loops melodies, interweaving harmonies and engaging rythms.

CLAUDE BOURBON
Claude Bourbon, Progressive Medieval & Spanish Blues finger-picking guitarist A breathtaking acoustic fusion of Blues, Jazz,Folk, Classical and Spanish guitar Claude Bourbon, who trained for many years in Switzerland and has performed and studied all over the world, has crafted an inspired fusion of classical and blues, with ethereal Eastern influences, Spanish and Latin elements with strains of Western folk.

Claude’s musical roots are blues, however, his music has and will continue to evolve over the years. Bourbon gets his musical inspiration from around the world including Spanish Middle Eastern, Russia and Europe.
Claude Bourbon takes the different sounds heard from different regions and molds them into the songs and melodies you hear at his shows.
His songs may be blues-sounding, ballads, rock, jazz or even unique and unclassifiable.
This performance forms part of The Future Sound of Exeter’s World Music night at Exeter Respect Festival - tickets are £12.50/£11 and provide access to an amazing five area show at Exeter Phoenix - Saturday 7th July.

The Charles Hazlewood show.
Charles Hazlewood returns for another series of eclectic musical exploration. The classical conductor will play music from Bach to Bjork, punk to polka…joining the dots in between music of all genres.
Recorded on location at Charles’ home in rural Somerset, there’ll be unusual musical juxtapositions, fascinating conversation and live performance. Each week a special guest musician joins Charles in the studio to produce a unique musical collaboration.
