The fifth Phoenixsounds showcase returns - Saturday 29th September - Voodoo Lounge - Exeter Phoenix, featuring more of the best artists in the region.

ARTISTS PROFILES

EVI VINE
Evi’s potent, dark and beautiful tones stretch flesh and sinew over the raw, animal skeleton of the music. Isolation, sex, death, alienation, passion, betrayal and redemption all wend their way into her narrative style. Evi’s work is more than just her voice, which is other-worldly in its ability to twist around a piece and really make you believe in what she is singing to you.

Evi Vine
Gracing the main stage at the Secret Garden Party, where she performed a ‘dreamy and distinguished’ set the Evi Vine live experience is one of enchantment and dark beauty, with audiences often moved to tears at the sense of dept and involvement in her work.
Her self-produced debut EP, “Human Remains” is available to buy now

SIOBHAN McCRUDDEN

Haunting songs with a unique fragility and deeply personal themes.

Siobhan

‘…beautiful and powerful vocals crying out folk in the classic tradition of bards immemorial. Whether a historical tragedy, a recent broken heart, or lovers’ anticipated embrace, the emotion flows, inundates, and recedes like a tempestuous river whose irresistible force carries you along for the ride leaving you breathless and travelled at the fertile conclusion.”

ROB SWANN
Rob Swann

Local singer songwriter Rob Swann plays his own highly personal brand of melodic and intimate songs and has been gathering a local following playing in and around Exeter. Sweet tones and strange tunings combine with personal lyrics.
