The Sound Gallery creative team have been awarded a small fund to help produce a short documentary and mixed media presentation in two parts.

The Moon Maths movie will document students from City of Bristol College visiting Stonehenge. The project aims to re-engage a group of young people with Maths.
Using modern technology and natural elements such as the sun path and lunar cycles at Stonehenge, an original musical score will be generated from data collected at the site using digital midi technology and analogue models.
The music will be in four movements representing the seasons and will be accompanied by a collage of digitally enhanced images titled KALEIDOSCOPE.
By exploring and utilising surround sound and digital soundscaping techniques and technologies we will create the music score for the four seasons (using midi sequences, arpeggiators, directional and placed sound output) and by combining this unique digital soundscape with a multi-media film collage, we hope to create a highly experimental and thought-provoking audio-visual sequence.
