ABLETON LIVE
Ableton is one of the most widely used, versitile and complete packages for forward thinking music makers on the market today. Used by artists such as Coldcut, Daft Punk, Hot Chip, Mogwai and Nine Inch Nails, Ableton blurs the boundaries between creation, production and performance. Learn how to remix your own music in a live performance situation, DJ other artists's tunes and discover the creative potential of audio visual processes such as VJing and sound design for the moving image.
Dates: Weekends and Mondays (dates to be arranged according to demand)
Times: 10:30-4:30pm
Places: 1-3 participants
Cost per person/per session: £180 (1 participant)/£150 (2 participants)/£130 (3 participants)
HOW TO BOOK:
Due to popular demand, early booking is strongly recommended. Places are limited and allocated on a first come-first served basis. To book a place visit the Exeter Phoenix Box Office in person, call: 01392-667080 (card payments) or send a cheque of the full amount payable to Sound Gallery CIC (Sound Gallery Studios, Exeter Phoenix, Bradninch Place, Gandy street, Exeter EX4 3LS).
Concessionary rates, shown in brackets, are available for benefit recipients, full-time students or over 60's.
For participants under 16 yrs old: After payment is received parents/guardians will be required to complete a consent form to secure their child(ren)'s place on the course. Concessionary rates, shown in brackets, are available for benefit recipients, full-time students or over 60's (where parent or guardian is paying).
Concessionary places are limited. We regret that we are unable to refund any money once a course has started.

Description
Sound Gallery is a social enterprise with many years experience of engaging and inspiring people through the creative process of making music. Since May 2008, we have been running a professional recording and music production studio in the basement complex at Exeter Phoenix. Sound Gallery Studios include a recording studio, live room, amp room and two rehearsal rooms. We also offer a wider range of music workshops, music technology courses, music industry networking events and live music showcases.
