A2D 2012 EXHIBITORS STALLS & DEMOS
SOUND GALLERY STUDIOS: a professional recording studio run by a social enterprise (Sound Gallery CIC) which offers a wide range of facilities to musicians, including audio digital and analogue recording facilities, rehearsal space, music technology courses, workshops, masterclasses and music industry events situated in Exeter Phoenix. Sound Gallery also hosts and organises the 'Analogue to Digital Music Expo'.SOUND ON SOUND MAGAZINE: the biggest music technology magazine in the world which recently celebrated 25 years continuous publication specialising in music recording technology, studio design & acoustics, home studios, miking techniques and official media sponsors of A2D 2012!
NATIVE INSTRUMENTS: software instrument company that produces both hardware and software for professional musicians, producers, sound designers and DJs. NI will be presenting Traktor Kontrol S4, Traktor Pro 2 software's first UK view and also Maschine 1.6 software.
2TWENTY2 AGENCY: 2twenty2 manages the sales, distribution and marketing of products from internationally renowned music technology companies across the UK such as Native Instruments (Traktor, Komplete, Maschine) Celemony and more.
TIME + SPACE: Time+Space have gained a reputation for providing a goldmine of musical inspiration; a place where recording artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, DJs and recording studios worldwide can find all the sound material they need, in one place, to create demos, records, remixes, commercials, jingles, sound tracks for film, theatre, musicals, live performance, computer games and multimedia productions. Their products include Sample CDs, Virtual Instruments, Music Software, Audio Hardware, Microphones and Learning Resources. T+S will be showcasing Toontrack EZmix 2, Rob Papen Blade and Synthogy American Concert D in this year's A2D show.
QUESTED MONITORING SYSTEMS: Quested design and manufacture the world's most neutral loudspeakers for recording studios and engineers worldwide. Their world includes Abbey Road, Gladiator, Florence & The Machine, The Dark Knight and embraces principles of clarity and dynamics beyond other speaker manufacturers.
AFFINITY AUDIO: "Pro Audio Tools" that will enable you to enhance what you want to achieve both sonically and operationally in your Studio and Live performance. These manufacturers and their products have a proven track record and are in constant daily use by owners and users around the world.
ANALOGUE SYSTEMS: Formed in 1989 as an importer/exporter of vintage modular synthesizers where a lot of knowledge of the classic Moog 3c, Moog 55, Arp 2500 and 2600 Emu, Polyfusion Roland 700 series synthesizers were amassed. Analogue Systems started designing its first product the FB3 filter bank in 1993, followed by the TH48 sequencer in 1994 and then in the latter part of the year the first euro rack style modules were built to form a modular filter bank. Several unique products have been developed on the way including the Ondes Martenot based keyboard controller the French Connection, commissioned by Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead. Analogue Systems have just finished building a six cabinet system in solid American walnut (Goliath) with an additional 2 keyboard controllers (Demon and French Connection) which will be on display at A2D 2012.
MUSICIANS UNION: a globally-respected organisation which represents over 30,000 musicians working in all sectors of the music business. As well as negotiating on behalf of musicians with all the major employers in the industry, the MU offers a range of services tailored for the self-employed by providing assistance for professional and student musicians of all ages.
YAMAHA UK: Through constant innovation, Yamaha has grown to be the one of the world's largest and most successful makers of musical instruments and production equipment. At this year's A2D, Yamaha in partnership with Steinberg will be hosting a series of masterclass sessions including; Producing drum N bass and dubstep and ‘getting that sound’ with up coming producer erb N dub. Yamaha's latest DTX will be demonstrated by artist Simon Edgoose providing sessions and advice on how Electronic Drums can breath life into performances both Live and in the Studio. There will also be sessions to showcase the MOX and MOTIF Music Production Synthesisers, the all new multi-award winning THR guitar amplifier and the infamous Tenori-on... both as a stand alone instrument and as an APP.
SHURE UK: leading distribution company of professional audio products. They will be showcasing their large diaphragm condenser microphones and studio headphones, Radial DI boxes and Primacoustic (Acoustic treatment solutions). The 3 brands they will representing at the show are Shure, Radial and Primacoustic.
APPLIED ACOUSTICS SYSTEMS: is the world-leader in physical modeling software instrument plug-ins for professional producers and musicians, including Chromaphone, Lounge Lizard and more ...
TFPro: British, hand-made microphone pre amplifiers, compressors and equalisers all utilising uncompromising design and build quality, the best of the past with some original thinking as well, all designed by Ted Fletcher.
MUSICROOM: Exeter-based business providing equipment and instruments for musicians.
ORCHID ELECTRONICS: Long established company based in Exeter UK specialising in products and services for the professional audio industry, including acoustic Pre-Amp custom built for Steve Knightley of Show Of Hands, now well-established and in use by Steve Knightley and Phil Beer, Martyn Joseph, Seth Lakeman, Chris While and many other Musicians.
REACTABLE: represent the cutting edge of interactive synthesis featuring ground-breaking technology using advanced digital effect processiong, sampling and DJing combined with mulit-touch technology. We will be showcasing some of their APPS in this year's show and they will be making a contribution to the legendary A2D Prize Draw!
