FORM-A-BAND (14-18 yrs)

Want to be in a band and record in a professional recording studio in the heart of Exeter?

Work in small groups exploring musical and lyrical ideas, learn how to structure songs and write original material. 

Participants will record their original compositions for a CD.

 
   

Dates: 3 DAY WORKSHOP: Summer holidays, dates tbc
Time: 10:30am-4:00pm

HOW TO BOOK: Due to popular demand, early booking is strongly recommended. Places are limited and allocated on a first come-first served basis. To book a place in the course, please contact us to request an enrolment and a consent form and return it to us completed with a cheque of the full amount payable to Sound Gallery CIC (Sound Gallery Studios, Exeter Phoenix, Bradninch Place, Gandy street, Exeter EX4 3LS).

We regret that we are unable to refund any money once a course has started. Courses may be cancelled or postponed due to inadequate number of participants. We will let you know whether this is the case at the earliest opportunity and will refund your payment in full.

    • More of the same kind of groups and better drumkits
    • To do more gigs
    • Band wars!
    • More Equipment e.g. symbols
    • These Workshops!
    • Nothing, it was perfect – but maybe make it a 4 or 5 day course
    • Create a film workshop would be awesome

Sound Gallery is a social enterprise with many years experience of engaging and inspiring people through the creative process of making music. Since May 2008, we have been running a professional recording and music production studio in the basement complex at Exeter Phoenix. Sound Gallery Studios include a recording studio, live room, amp room and two rehearsal rooms. We also offer a wider range of music workshops, music technology courses, music industry networking events and live music showcases.
