GRICE is a London born artrock musician, singer songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. His second solo album Alexandrine (2015) features Richard Barbieri (originally from electro pioneers Japan, Porcupine Tree), Steve Jansen (Japan, Rain Tree Crow), Hossam Ramzy (Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel), BJ Cole and his core band (Al Swainger, 05Ric and Duncan Chave).

Alexandrine featured amongst the top 20 albums on the Progressive Chart, the album was reviewed by PROG magazine, The Musician, Fireworks and was recommended by iO Pages (issue: 131, Sept 2015).

‘Atmospheric art-rock. Sculpted with melancholy trumpets, taste and sensitivity, Alexandrine exits on an instrumental high, with Flaw 3 surging to a transcendent peak recalling Yes’ Soon. Grice sounds like grace’ PROG, Aug 2015

‘Pure magic. Utterly enchanting. “Alexandrine” is a definite Mammal album of the year contender. Grice, the composer, singer, musician and driving force behind the band, pours enormous amounts of emotion into his songs, and his vocal style is grippingly pensive and expressive’ 5/5 A metal State of Mind
