ABOUT US
Sound Gallery Studios is a professional recording studio situated in the basement floor at Exeter Phoenix. We provide affordable access to professional expertise and high quality resources for bands and musicians of all ages and music genres. The new studio resources provide the perfect fusion between analogue and state of the art digital technologies, including fully treated control room, vocal booth and live room, rehearsal space alongside a team of friendly, experienced and highly skilled engineers and producers to help you get the best out of your project.

LOCATION

Sound Gallery Studios are located at Exeter Phoenix in Exeter, one of the liveliest and most musical cities in the Southwest! The city has a thriving music scene with over 20 venues offering opportunities for live music performances, open mic events and festivals,  which attract thousand of visitors each year. Exeter is a hot-bed for nurturing musical talent, thanks to its reputation of local music legends including Muse, Chris Martin (Coldplay), Joss Stone, Radiohead. Gandy street, with its historic, medieval cobbles, is the andidote to high street brands with its independent boutiques, wine-bars, restaurants, fashion, jewelery shops and galleries. DIRECTIONS
• On Foot:
From the High Street: Turn off the High Street opposite the House of Fraser store, into the narrow alley called Gandy Street. Go to the end of Gandy Street, then turn right into Bradninch Place. From Queen Street and Exeter Central Station Head away from the clock tower, with Central station on your left. Turn left after the Royal Albert Museum, walk up along the side of the museum in Upper Paul Street and Exeter Phoenix is at the top of the slope.
• By Bus:
Ask to be let off on Queen Street, as close to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum as possible. From there, walk along Queen Street and turn up Upper Paul Street and then up a slope to Exeter Phoenix.
• By Train:
Exeter is well served by trains from London, Bristol, Taunton, Plymouth and Torbay. The closest station to Exeter Phoenix is Exeter Central, platforms fully accessible by lifts. St David's station is mainline and accessible, but is a 15 minute walk up a hill to the city centre, so transfer to an Exeter Central train, bus or taxi to Queen Street if possible.
• By Car:
Please note that there is one disabled parking space at Exeter Phoenix but no other parking available. Please use city centre car parks (Harlequinn Centre, Queen street, The Castle)
• By plane: Exeter Airport (Flybee)
