Sound Gallery Studios is situated within the basement complex at Exeter Phoenix which is located between the Exeter Library and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM). Access to the studio is through the Exeter Phoenix front door entrance or the automatic doors at the back of the building (disabled access).

The studio is located in the lower ground floor through the stairs or it can be accessed via the back door under the terrace for wheelchair users.

There is also a lift available on the ground floor leading to the basement. Once you are in the basement floor, ring the SG bell and we will open the door for you.

DIRECTIONS

On foot

From the High Street: Walk to the end of Gandy Street. You will find us up the slope at on the right.

From the Clock Tower: Walk down Queen Street with Exeter Central train station on your left. Turn left onto Gandy Street after the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. Exeter Phoenix is up the slope in front of you.

From Exeter Library: Turn right when you come out of the library and follow the ramp on your right. You will find us approximately 75 metres straight on.

By Rail

The closest train station to Exeter Phoenix is Exeter Central train station which is about a 5 minute walk; follow the ‘By FOOT – From the Clock Tower instructions to reach us. Also close by is Exeter St David’s train station which is approximately a 20 minute walk.


By Car

From Queen street: Turn left onto Gandy street after the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and drive up the slope. Parking is available by prior arrangement only via Exeter Phoenix, with the exception of one bay which can be reserved for Blue Badge holders.

By Air

Exeter airport is a 16 minute drive from Exeter Phoenix where Sound Gallery Studios are situated in.
