THE CLOUD
The space has a unique, bespoke (LED lit) suspended cloud to provide absorption when recording full drum kits and other instruments. Now equipped with a Genelec monitoring system, Studio 1 is also a control room quality listening environment.
Studio 1 is connected to Studio 2 and the Control room via an AVB network which provides great flexibility, enhancing the recording capability and enabling larger groups to multi-track and record live.
Studio 1 is also linked to community radio station Phonic FM (right next door to us), which enables us to run Maida Vale-style live sessions on-air as well as pre-recorded sessions for bands and solo artists.
