Health & Safety Guidance
Terms & Conditions

Dear Sound Gallery clients,

We have put the following measures in place with a view to keeping our industry as safe as possible so we are able to continue operating whilst retaining our customer’s confidence and protecting others around us. Thank you for your co-operation – SG Team (Updated: 10 September 2022).

Health and Safety Guidance & Precautions

Please do not visit our spaces if you are displaying symptoms of flu or COVID-19 or if you had recently had a positive lateral flow or PCR test. We are happy to reschedule your session for a later date.

If you should contract Covid or have recognised symptoms within 14 days following your session then please notify us immediately

Please fill in our self-certification health questionnaire 24 hours prior to visiting the studio to certify that you have not displayed symptoms of COVID-19 nor have come in contact with a known case of COVID-19 in the previous 14-day period. (We will send the questionnaire via email).

We also advise clients to take a lateral flow test 24 hrs ahead of their visit or send us evidence of full vaccination (unless medically exempt).

Ventilation & Air-Conditioning

All Sound Gallery studio spaces are fully ventilated. Studio 1 & Control Room are also air-conditioned. We have also taken steps to improve fresh air flow by airing studio spaces between sessions and allowing up to 1 hr gap between sessions.

Hygiene & Sanitisation

Please use the sanitisers provided in each studio space to clean your hands when entering the studio.

Please arrive and leave on time to allow us to clean the room for the next client.

Studios and equipment including microphones are disinfected between sessions. We alternate microphones between different users and sessions. Microphones are quaranteed for 2-3 days between sessions.

Musicians are asked to ensure that anything they bring with them (instruments, cables, cymbals, pedal-boards) has been disinfected.

No SG equipment is to be relocated and everything must remain where found on entry.

Social distancing

Maintain 1+ metre distance when in close contact with others in the studio. To enable direct communications and sight-lines with the engineer and playback of mixes, we have set up a 2-way monitoring system between Studio 1, Studio 2, Vocal Booth & Control room to ensure the smooth running of the session.

Mixing & Mastering sessions

Mixing and mastering sessions are taking place in the Control room or via a monitor system if required which is installed in Studio 1 & Control Room to enable safe distancing and audio/visual communication between engineer and client.
