Our Social Agenda

Gallery CIC is a social enterprise, not for profit organisation, community interest company founded in 2007 by social entrepreneur and musician Jim (Grice) Peters and a team of driven and experienced musicians, educators and technicians.

Our Vision

To nurture and develop musicians and musical projects in Exeter and the surrounding areas.

Our Mission

Sound Gallery is dedicated to the development of original creative works produced by talented musicians and to the provision of music-making and training opportunities, especially for young people aged 14-25 years who are at risk of social exclusion.

Our Theory of Change

We provide music-making and training opportunities in a professional environment for young people who live in challenging circumstances, which build up their confidence and improve their life skills. This increases their employability and opens up opportunities for them to reach their full potential in life.

Support your local social enterprise

By choosing to use Sound Gallery Studios, you are making a contribution to our social objectives and you are playing a part in changing lives and putting something back in the community.

We employ professional sound engineers and producers with many years experience in the music industry, who are approachable, friendly and fun to work with.

We have high standards, many years of expertise and high-end equipment which means that we deliver professionally sounding recordings to help musicians release new works and get noticed in the music industry.

We have unique links with the music industry through our work as a recording studio and the Analogue to Digital Music Expo that we have hosted for 6 years.

We offer competitive rates and concessions where possible without compromising results.

Sound Gallery is founded and run by musicians and artists who love music and are passionate about what they do.
